Jesus Christ

Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin.

Make friends for yourselves by means of unrighteous wealth, so that when it fails they may receive you in to the eternal dwelling.

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.

Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Many are on the path to destruction, and only a few even find the way to life.

If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.

There is a place of 'weeping and gnashing of teeth'.

Indeed, I say to you, it will be more bearable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.

Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into the hell of fire.

But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
