I have seen the Lord, and he has talked with me face to face.

I am a man of peace, and hate contention.

I am not a sectarian, but a lover of truth.

I am the only prophet that has ever been able to keep a church together since the days of Adam.

I am a friend to the poor, and an enemy to oppression.

I have a right to reveal all things, and to teach all things.

I am a chosen vessel of the Lord to do a great work.

I am not afraid of man, nor of devils.

I am a bold, fearless, and independent man.

I have seen many things that no eye has seen, and heard many things that no ear has heard.

I am a champion of liberty, and an advocate for the rights of man.
